About the app

Awarely is a free, non-commercial Android app with five parts:

• News — a clean, swipeable feed of World, national, regional, and video news drawn from public sources, ordered on your own device. No ads, no accounts, no tracking.
• Scan to Know — scan a product barcode to get a plain-language safety rating. The barcode is read on-device, product details come from Open Food Facts, and the rating is generated by Google Gemini.
• Daily Briefing — an AI-written summary of the day’s top stories.
• Alerts — breaking news and health-related recalls/advisories.
• Games — Sudoku, kids’ language learning, and a Word of the Day dictionary, all on-device.

See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
